Who does your family consist of? Myself, My six year old Daughter Kaiya, my boyfriend of two years Anthony, my cat Ewok, and my dog Onyx.
What is your occupation? I am a loan officer at a small hometown bank.
Who is your favorite Disney Character and why? Daisy, because she has to have all the patience in the world to put up with Donald.
How many times have you vacationed to a Disney destination? Just once before April 1999 and then I have my upcoming trip May 12, 2008.
What is your favorite Disney Resort (or off site property) and why? I’ve only stayed at the All Stars Movies before so I don’t really have a comparison yet but I’m really looking forward to staying at Disney Pop Century to see all the things from my childhood in huge form.
What is your favorite Disney restaurant, in or out of the parks? When I went in 99 the only sit down restaurant we went to was Medieval Times which I absolutely LOVED. On my upcoming trip our restaurant choices are, The Sci-Fi Dine in Theater, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey’s, and Mickey’s Backyard BBQ. I think out of all of these Chef Mickey’s will be my favorite.
What is your favorite ride or attraction at any of the Disney parks? On my last trip Tower of Terror was my most favorite ride, on this upcoming trip I’m really looking forward to trying Soarin, Kilimajaro Safari, and Aerosmith’s Rock and Roll Rollercoaster.
When visiting Disney theme parks, do you "park hop" or not and why? I think to park hop is the only way to go, that’s the best way to get your money’s worth. That way you can see as many things at once and with a larger family you can please everyone.
What is your favorite Disney memory? My favorite Disney memory will most likely be replaced this year when I take my daughter for the first time but it was when I went and saw the castle for the first time and you’re just awestruck.
What is your favorite "extra cost" event/tour? On my upcoming trip I’ve scheduled two extra cost things, one for my boyfriend and one for my daughter, for my daughter I’ve scheduled a Hannah Montana Makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique which I can’t wait to see her face when she gets her surprise and for my boyfriend I’ve scheduled a surprise Ride-Along Experience at the Richard Petty Racetrack. My favorite of those two will probably end up being the Boutique though and knowing me I’ll probably end up wanting to get my hair done also.
Have you met any MFL members at a Disney park? If so, who and what did you do? I've never met any MFL members.
Besides "things Disney", what do you like to do in your free time? Besides Disney things I love to read, go down to our Beach house and relax, spend time with my family, dance, go watch the local Class A baseball team the Wilmington Blue Rocks play and just have a great time.
What would people be surprised to know about you? I’m terrified of open water. One time my boyfriend’s jet ski broke down and I made him swim 500 yards to shore, towing me sitting on the jet ski the whole way because I wouldn’t get in the water I was so scared something would get me.
What is your best MouseForLess money saving tip? Take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan, instead of buying shirts in the stores when you get to Disney get the disboards to customize shirts for you and then you have your souvenirs before you even get to Disney.
What area of TheMouseForLess.com do you use most frequently? When I first signed up I used the Downloads section to download a travel guide for my daughter to fill out and mousekeeping envelopes. Now I just read the emails for the most part.
What is your favorite aspect of MFL? The friendliness of everyone here, the willingness to help, and the abundance of information available are many of the things that I love about MFL and why I recommend this website to everyone that tells me they’re thinking of planning a Disney vacation.
