Captain Jack Sparrow Joins The Crew

After months of being closed while enhancements were being added and just in time for the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Pirates of the Caribbean at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World are once again open. Captain Jack Sparrow and his nemesis Barbossa have joined the original buccaneers and add a terrific twist to the adventure. There have been several new special effects added, too.

This billboard greets you as you are boarding the tram
near the parking structure.

This "WAIT" sign could hold good news or bad!

After a long wait, the anticipation builds as you reach the building!

As you enter the attraction, this painting
of Captain Jack Sparrow is the first to greet you.

When you enter the battle scene you are met
by the threatening Barbossa (and some new music, too!).
He's high atop the Wicked Wench, full of motion and looking very life-like.
