Located just off Hwy 595 & Osceola Parkway, only 3 miles from Disney World's maingate. Driving our own rental car it took less than 10 minutes to and from any of the parks, even during peak hours and closing.

Date of Stay: July 6 -13 2002

Type of Resort: non-Disney moderate

Rate Paid During Your Stay: We paid $64 a night for a One Bedroom Suite. This suite has a door that closes between the bedroom & living room. Their sister hotel Amerisuites next door does not. This was a special rate through ValueTrips.com. The rate varies based on the time of year. The Country Inn & Suites Website Reservations has the room for $109.00 per night. They also have Kid Suites ($119) and standard rooms ($65).

Room sleeps : 4 with king in bedroom - 6 with two queens in bedroom.

Theming: 10 Caribbean Theme
Room Size: 10 Lots of room to move around in.
Amenities: 10 One pool is zero depth to 9ft pool with slides. 2 other regular pools. Free 18 hole miniature golf course. Barbeques near pool with the slides. Extensive Continental Breakfast and Evening snacks located in a large room with table and chairs. It also has access to a large covered veranda also with table and chairs. VERY CLEAN.

Transportation: 0 Did not use, we had a rental car.
Recreation: 10
Value: 10

Over all rating: 10

Don't miss: They have a few great pools here.

Room Location Suggestion: We had a room facing the pool area. The other side faces Disney World. I wondered if they could see any fireworks.

The Mouse For less Tip: There is a microwave and frig that will freeze bottles of water or juice. We froze our neck scarves and water bottles, worked out great. We also brought in snacks and sandwiches because we were always too tired to eat. Some families were using the Barbeques (even at 11 p.m.). It smelled so good and I think with a larger family this could save money. I thought about it, but was too tired to cook. Excellent food store just a half-mile from the resort. Caters to the hotel guests with smaller containers and an excellent selection of made-to-order sandwiches. Stays open late. Check the discount store next to food store for Disney World related merchandise.

Comments: You can tell we really enjoyed our stay here. This hotel does not have their laundry facilities, yet. For now they are located in the sister hotel, Amerisuites. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Kissimmee area. The staff bends over backwards to help in any situation. The facilities are new and clean. Parking lot is big within a close walk of the hotel.

Room Size: 10
Amenities: 10 Loved the stackable washer/dryer and whirlpool.
Quality: 10
Cleanliness: 10 Brand new, opened 05/2002.
Transportation: 8 Daily shuttles to major parks, 5 from WDW, 10 from Sea World & I-Drive.
Recreation: 10 (Free mini-golf, gym, numerous pools.)
Value: 10 Great but I don't know how long this will last.

Over all rating: 10

Don't miss: The Jacuzzi after spending a long day pounding the pavement at the parks.

Room Location Suggestion: We were in the 5000 building - Room 3230A

The Mouse For less Tip: I paid the 49$ rate. However, for those wishing to listen to a timeshare speech I did hear another guest receiving three days accommodations at the Country Suites (on the same property) for the room tax only ($15.00) and they also received two Universal studios tickets.

Comments: Their rooms are identical to the renderings and photos on their website. All kitchen utensils, linens were provided. Even a vacuum. I could not rate this resort high enough. We have rebooked for next time. Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at my email address.
