Don't Miss: The Dig Site ( the main pool area ) Has a really good
slide even adults like it.
Room Location Suggestion: We stayed at Casitas1. It was very close
to the main area--registration and food court.
The Mouse For Less Tip: If you have the time and energy take a walk
around the resort. We took pictures of the resort in the early morning hours and it was really beautiful. Explore the resort there are little courtyards all over the place that are really special.
Comments: I had read several negative reviews on this resort but I
found it delightful. We got the room I requested as I have problems walking up stairs it was on the ground level and close to the main area. It was perfect. There are large golf carts that run between the main area and any where you want to go. really convenient.

Don't Miss: Relaxing on the hammocks at the "beach" and the great
water slide at the big pool.
Room Location Suggestion: Depends on your preferences, I found all
the locations to be great.
The Mouse For Less Tip: The resort concierge arranged for my sister
to be driven to the Verizon store when her phone died.-no charge.
Comments: I found the staff to be very helpful and the rooms were so
clean and comfortable.

Don't Miss: This resort is themed for northern Mexico, and the landscaping is beautiful. Take time to walk around and look at the plants and flowers. If you live in the desert southwest you might not like this place, but this resort does a great job of playing pretend which is why I like it so much. The pool is huge and
adequately sized for the resort. CSR is a convention center, and many guests do not use the pool (but they do use the restaurants and bars). Its nice to have a big pool with a cool slide and not have it packed with people (even in June the pool was not shoulder to shoulder people). There are two quiet pools here too, which are not necessarily quiet! I had a pool view room which was rather noisy at
midnight. Security took care of that though after I called.
Room Location Suggestion: Coronado Springs Resort is huge! You can't be close to everything here. Pick something that you want to be near and then request it. There are three sections: Casitas (next to the convention center), the Ranchos (out in back of the main pool) and the Cabanas (located towards El Centro, the main area). I prefer to be in the back in the Ranchos as it is quieter and the pool is a shorter walk.
The Mouse For less Tip: Refillable mugs might not be a great deal here if you're a ways from the food court. The food court is called the Pepper Market. When you arrive you are seated by a host(ess) and you have a server get your drinks. The Pepper Market has food stations and you take a card to the station and get your food, and then the cook stamps the cart. When it is time to leave you take the card to the register and pay. There is a 10% upcharge for the
service you receive, which is not added for take-out orders. I consider the Pepper Market to be somewhat of a counter service buffet restaurant--if that makes sense. Selections are somewhat more upscale than the typical Disney food court, with more freshly prepared items available. We had breakfast here and it was good. I liked having someone seat me rather than the usual Disney free for
all for tables, and the fact it was clean was a huge plus.
Comments: The vast size of Coronado Springs Resort makes transportation an issue for many people. I timed each trip to the parks and once the bus pulled out of the resort it was a 10 minute drive to the MK. Less than that for Epcot, AK, and MGM. I was really pleased with the bus service at Coronado Springs. Busses
start at the back of the resort and then end up at the front, then out to the destination. So its bus stop 2, 3, 4, and finally #1. Exception is the return from DTD when it stops at #1, then 2-4.
