Okay for Children: NO-
There are sometimes a family or 2 with kids there, but as a young couple, we feel like kids should not be there.
First off, it's expensive ('date/romance' type dinners-not a family friendly menu, unless your kids eat bleu cheese topped mignon or sesame chicken in vodka sauce, and if they do, my hats off to you).
Second, its one of the very few FULL bars throughout Disneyland-It would be nice to save a couple places for adults without kids to go for quite/private/relaxed dinners/drinks.
Okay for Couples: YES-
Its dim, candlelit, and one of the few FULL bars in Disney. The prices are pretty good (In comparison to Boston and Los Angeles, but if you consider $20 to $30 too much for a dinner plate, this is not the place for you. Their martinis are less than 10 bucks, which is cheap for us)
It is a romantic setting, French-iron decor and they have both outdoor and indoor tables. I would dare say it is better than Blue Bayou, if only because it is much less crowded, they serve drinks, and their menu is more extensive.
Be Sure to Try: Everything
General tips: As always, you cannot request a specific seat, but when you show up for your reservation, they are very sweet and accommodating, and will allow you to wait until your preferred seat is open.
Reservations are suggested, but not always needed-It's not like Blue Bayou where you have to call a week ahead. Going there first thing and making the res. in the morning is just fine, or even walking in when you're hungry.
It's nice to sit on their balcony for the 10pm fireworks-you can sit, drink, eat and watch the fireworks, thought they are still in the distance.
MouseforLess Tip: Discount tips?
Don't eat here.
This isn't a place for discounts...However, if you're used to expensive meals (major metropolis prices) than this place can be seen as a bargain. Their 1/2 roast rosemary chicken is, I think, $25 and their martinis are under 10 bucks.
Extra Comment: It's located in downtown Disney, about halfway down on the left, coming from the park entrances. It's convenient enough to make res. there in the morning when you get off the tram (its right there), and it's very nice to stop for a drink or real meal in between park hops.
Who: The Flints
Where: Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen

Okay for Children: OK for kids, but it doesn't cater to them which is a nice change of pace...
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: Benignets
General tips: Easy place to make reservations or just drop in.
MouseforLess Tip: It's a little on the loud side, but it's a fun kind of noise.
Less expensive than Goofy's Kitchen!
Extra Comment: This and ESPN Zone are both great places that can clearly succeed on their own, without the Disneyland traffic. It's great to have options like that while at the Park.
