Jazz Kitchen Express Menu

Jazz Kitchen Express - Downtown Disney

Who: Janelle H.

Where: Jazz Kitchen Express

When: 7-19-2008

What: I ordered the shrimp po' boy. It was HUGE and freshly made and SO YUMMY! There must have been about 20 fried shrimp inside, and the baguette was fresh out of the oven. It came with yummy seasoned fries. It was enough food for two people, really!

Approximate Price of Entrees: $9 for a (HUGE!) sandwich, about $2.75 for an unlimited-refills soda.

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)

Food: 5 out of 5; worth leaving the Park & returning after eating.

Service: 5; service is super-fast and friendly.

Atmosphere: 3, seating is outdoors and can be noisy & crowded, but a nice view of DD.

Okay for Children: Yes; there's a fun atmosphere & though I don't have any kids of my own, the kids I saw eating there seemed to really enjoy the beignets : )

Okay for Couples: Yes; the food is delicious & the portions are huge, so one entree could easily be shared by 2 hungry people.

Be Sure to Try: The shrimp po' boy! And the beignets if you're go there for breakfast!

General tips: This place is a hidden gem- delicious, fresh food, huge portions, and great prices.

Who: The Cahills

Where: Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen

When: 02/06/2005

What: Breakfast

Approximate Price of Entrees: About $7 pp for breakfast

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)

Food: 5

Service: 5

Atmosphere: 5

Okay for Children: This quick stop is perfect for children

Okay for Couples: Although I wouldn't call it romantic, this casual counter is perfect for quick stops.

Be Sure to Try: DO NOT Pass on the Beignets!!!

General tips: It's great to grab a bag of fresh beignets and some milk and sit outside watching the Downtown Disney day start!

MouseforLess Tip: The CM at the cashier asked if I had an AP (because you get a discount). I joked that I don't have an AP, but I have AAA (three times the A' of an AP). He laughed and then gave me the AP discount anyways. Never hurts to joke around!

Extra Comment: TRY THE BEIGNETS ANYTIME OF THE DAY!!!

Who: The Stockwells

Where: Jazz Kitchen Express

When: March, 1, 2005

What: Breakfast

Approximate Price of Entrees: $5

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)

Food: 5

Service: 3

Atmosphere: 4

Okay for Children: Yes, this is the take-out side of the Jazz Kitchen.  The food is great, and children have the distraction of Downtown Disney so that they won't be bored.

Okay for Couples: Yes

Be Sure to Try: Benignets - they're good morning, noon and night!

General tips: This is one of the few places in DTD open for breakfast

MouseforLess Tip: The cold drinks are refillable, so fill it up again before you leave :-)
