Who: The Waite Family Š Mary and Bob

Where: Spoodles at the Boardwalk

When: May 26, 2005

What: Two Adult Breakfast Platters, which was an All-You-Can-Eat breakfast platter that included scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, French toast, bacon, sausage links and breakfast breads all served on a large plate which is brought to each person. Our breakfast breads were a Cinnamon Roll, a Danish and a Croissant. Bob received a Cheese Danish and I had an Apple and Cherry Danish. We both were given a Chocolate Croissant. We werenÕt given a choice of breakfast breads Š but were certainly pleased with what was provided to us. Bob had coffee and I had a small grape juice and a Diet Coke.

Approximate Price of Entrees: Two Adult Breakfast Platters was $23.98; Coffee was $2.19; Small glass of Grape Juice was $1.59 and a Diet Coke was $1.99. Total with tax was $31.68. We used the Disney Dining Experience card, and the total was $25.35 Š saved $6.33 on this breakfast.

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 5 Š Definitely come hungry.
Service: 5
Atmosphere: 5
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: Everything. It was a nice mix of flavors. But if you are one (or someone in your party) who has a problem with different foods touching, then you may not like this. The pastries did come on a separate plate. IÕm not big on sausage links so I passed on those. Even though this was an all-you-can-eat platter, we certainly didnÕt order anything extra. One go round was enough for both of us Š more than enough. In fact, it was so much that we didnÕt eat any lunch that day.

General tips: Spoodles for breakfast must be a pretty good secret because we practically had the restaurant to ourselves. There were a few families dining, but not many. I would think you could do a walk-up quite easily and be seated for breakfast quite quickly on most days.

TheMouseForLess tips: If you have a DDE card Š use it.

Extra Comments: Everything that we saw looked extra good. The kitchen is a huge open area. I plan to go back and try one of the Frittatas in the future.
