Who: Earl Benway (party of 1)y

Where: ABC Commissary Hollywood Studios

When:December 6, 2008

What: Lunch:
Cheeseburger w/fries
Large soda
Chocolate Mousse

Approximate Price of Entrees: $13.29 (Counter service Dining Plan)

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 1 - This was the WORST burger I have ever had at WDW. Fries were cold. Only good thing about this meal was the mousse which is a comercial product and not made there.
Service: 3 - Felt the cast members just didnt care
Atmosphere: 2 - Open area with lots of room but VERY boring inside. At least you have the TV theme music outside to listen to
Okay for Children: Yes - typical kids meals
Okay for Couples: Yes - but go somewhere else if you want atmosphere. If you want to have a nice conversation, this is the place to be.
Be Sure to Try: Skip it - I had a better meal at the Backlot Express!

Extra Comments: If I was the type of person to return food, this would be the place I would have done it!

Who: The Thornton Family

Where: ABC Commissary at Hollywood Studios

When: October 2008

What: lunch - chicken tenders, fish, cheeseburger, sugar free parfait.

Approximate Price of Entrees: $40 for 3 people

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 5 (for quick service)
Service: 5
Atmosphere: 2
Okay for Children: YES, they will love the posters and props
Okay for Couples: Yes, not romantic, but my dd and I loved the displays and enjoyed eating here by ourselves one day when it was quiet and we could watch the TV clips while we ate.
Be Sure to Try: The fish was good. Its not something I would usually eat, but it was crunchy and cooked well, so it wasnt bad, if you enjoy the occasional greasy treat.

General tips: If your an ABC Tv fan sit near the TVs and you may learn a little something about your favorite show.

MouseForLess Tip: The fish was a large enough serving to feed 2 people, get one and split it

Extra Comments: Always nice and cool on a hot day!!

Who: The Johnsons (DH30s, DW30s, DS4)

Where: ABC Commissary

When: 6/8/2008, 3:30 pm

What: late lunch

Approximate Price of Entrees: Cuban Sandwich w/fries ($6.69), Asian Salad ($6.49), Kids Meal Ham Cheese Wrap w/grapes + applesauce ($4.49)

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 3
Service: 4 (for a counter service restaurant)
Atmosphere: 2
Okay for Children: Yes, although it was noisy and not much "eye candy"
Okay for Couples: Yes, although definitely not romantic
Be Sure to Try: The Cuban Sandwich was yummy!

General tips: Even at 3:30 pm, this place was noisy. Strangely, there was a long lineup for the ladies' room (only 3 stalls, I believe).

Extra Comments: I was surprised that I couldn't get chicken in my salad. That would have been perfect, because the salad itself was yummy but not terribly satisfying.

Who: Frank and Amy Thornton

Where:ABC commissary in HS

When: May 31st 2008

What: Breakfast:
1 bacon, egg and cheese bagel
1 oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins
1 mixed fruit
1 granola bar
2 drinks

Approximate Price of Entrees: less than $20 for all

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 5
Service: 5
Atmosphere: 5
Okay for Children: yes, but not specifically themed for kids
Okay for Couples: ok, but not romantic in any way. We enjoyed the behind the scenes type show they had on the Tvs because a lot of it was about Lost and were big Lost fans
Be Sure to Try: Bacon, egg and cheese bagel

General tips: be sure to sit where you can see the TVs

Extra Comments: check out the display cases, we found a case full of Dharma supplies.

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 4
Service: 3 (counter service)
Atmosphere: 3
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: The burgers here were pretty good.

General tips: Try to eat at an off time to avoid long lines at the registers.

Extra Comments: We weren't thrilled with the counter service options for lunch in the MGM park, but everyone enjoyed their food here.
