okay its not very detailed but here it is i don't have time right now to type an extensive one as dh is on some funny hours (We're airforce)
and its been tough on our son since we got home. here it goes:
Monday Sept 10 got up 3am and left for disney world. by around 1pm we arrived (we drove) we got in line at the all star
music resort where we would call home for the next week.. got up to the desk and the lady tells us how much we owed i thought the amount
didn't sound right so i asked her to check again 2 nights should have already been paid for one by check and one by american express card
and she said nope no ae card on here.. she called reservations and come to find out they neglected to tell us that my mom (who's ae card
it was) needed to send in via fax a copy of her drivers licensed and a letter saying it was okay to charge it.. ugh.. so we paid the
balance and went on to our room.. we called family let them know we made it okay and then went on our way to downtown disney where we
went through all the shops and then ate at rainforest cafe me and dh split this platter ohh it was soo good had ribs,chicken,shrimp and
steak on it and the chicken was to die for (lol thats what i ate lol) then made our way to the contemporary where we rode the monorail
around then got off at the transportation center and rode the monorail around epcot then got off and caught the bus from epcot to
the hotel..sleep aaahhhh
Tuesday, 11th
got up got dressed and headed to the magic kingdom we of course cried when seth saw the castle just his face in aww was a priceless memory.
we then proceded to the city hall to get him a bday pin to wear all week but they were out until october sometime and were only doing
certificates at that time.. so we agreed to get it later in the week. we walked out and there were a ton of characters we went from one to
the other until we got them all and proceeded to hit all the rides the park wasn't very full and we walked on all the rides that we wanted to
ride.. we got all the way to fantasy land when we were in line for chip and dale when the cm told us a plane had crashed into the wtc we
were in shock since dh is military and contemplated going back to the room immediately to call the base but went ahead and got on the pooh
ride when we got off they were ushering everyone out of the park. so when we finally got out of the park and back to the hotel we called
the base and asked them what they wanted us to do they said go ahead and stay put for now.. but as we called family members to let them
know the park had shut they all wanted us to go home immediately.. we decided to stay and went to the contemporary for dinner at chef
mickeys it was nice and seth enjoyed it.. when we returned to the room they had a message saying the parks would reopen the next morning.
sleep(btw they did give us all comp tickets as we exited the park since it wasn't open all day)
wed 12th.
we awoke and didn't even turn on the tv we had seen enough horror and just wanted to keep things normal for our son while we could (not
knowing what was waiting us at home such as deployment etc..) so we headed to animal kingdom we did all but the kali river rapids and the
dinosaur ride. we actually got through the park really fast because again there were no lines.. we exited and went to mgm.. we went all
through mgm did all we could with seth and proceded to head to epcot for the evening seth wasn't impressed with mgm. we got to epcot and
proceed first thing to imagination.. our son had watched our honeymoon video over and over since it was of disneyworld and had
picked figment (imagination) as his fav ride well we got there and rode it they had changed it no figment our son was crushed! so out of
pitty we bought a huge figment lol.. they said at the counter alot of people had complained about the ride and taking figment out and that
disney was considering putting it back in..we did the in the ball ride and then we then ate dinner at innoventions and then went and
rode the coral reef ride.. (or whatever its called we call it the fishy ride lol).. we then went to see the fireworks..went back to the hotel
and slept.
Thursday 13th
got up and went back to epcot to start in with the worlds we went all around all the worlds and through innoventions and by lunch we were
ready for our break (Everyday at lunchtime we went back to the hotel ate sandwiches from the cooler and let our son take a nap). when we
got back out we decided to go to magic kingdom for the rest of the day we started back over in fantasy land and continued on around the
world.. when we finished everything (including riding buzz lightyear 4 times) we went back to the hotel and slept (btw this is about when
tropical storm gabrielle started hitting us so we were in rain from thrusday afternoon and all day friday)
Friday 14th
got up and went to the magic kingdom for breakfast ate at the crystal gardens where pooh proceed to chase our son all around the
restaurant no matter how much we tried to stop him lol.. after breakfast we headed out in the rain only to find out some of the
rides were shut down due to too much rain so we went on what we could and literally again walked on all teh rides which was nice.. we went
all around the whole magic kingdom and (oh my son spent alot of time at goofys barnstormer where they just let him go again and again and
again since no one was in line lol)by this time even though we had ponchos on we were wet i was cold and so we decided to say goodbye to
disney and spend the afternoon in the hotel we stopped by the city hall and got seths certificate then we got back to the room got dried
off ate and napped and started packing up for our drive home the next day we then went back to downtown disney for some shopping we ate
dinner at the rainforest cafe (i was craving that chicken again lol). went back to the hotel and slept
Saturday, 15th
got up checked out and headed for home we got to dhs parents only to find the base had been trying to get ahold of us we got in contact
with them and found out we had to be with in one hour of the base we were 2hrs away but they told us to stay tight for the night and we did
Sunday, 16th
got up stayed till lunch to get sil to develop pics (which half of them didn't turn out our flash stopped working while we were there)
and went home.
