Spur of the moment we decided to go down to WDW. It was great! A very short trip but probably the best one yet! We stayed at Coronado
Springs and they sure have done alot since it's first year! It was beautiful! The reason I think this trip was so nice is becuase I did
not plan anything ahead of time. So we had no where to be at any particular time.We made PS reservations at the last minute and had no ajenda! We enjoyed our resort pool area more than we usually do. It was an extra trip so there was no pressure. I held on to that theory
the whole trip and everyone enjoyed themselves more.
On our first day we hung out pool side. I have four children so the pool and the slide were a hit! We headed over the the Dolphin
(or Swan) and ate with the characters. Although we love Chip and Dale they were the only ones there but, the food was good and the
Disney club card came in handy (20%). Next we headed over to the Boardwalk and walked off our meal. We traveled the full circle
stopping along the way to take in the sites. We sat in the sand, and visited the hotel. We heade back to the hotel in order to get ready
for our big day.
The following day, we went straight to MGM. As soon as we arrived we ate breakfast and then we realized that our DD lost her
pocketbook. She's 9 so we figured nothing too important until, she told us that she had been playing with the room safe key and that was
in her bag! UUUUUUGGGGGH! Oh! well we didn;t let it spoil our day we figured it would turn up. We rode all the thrill rides with out
rushing around and had a BLAST! That evening we entered the MK. There we headed right to FL. Our 4 year old was in her Tinkerbell
gear and crown and it was a hit! I love seeing kids in there costumes! It can't get any better than that! She felt so proud and
everyone was commenting. I have to say this came in handy. As we tryed to explain that we woudl come back to the Peter pan ride
(because the line was too long) she argued with us. Just then a CM from the ride heard the comotion and sprinkled a little MAGIC! She
said PP was looking for her (tinkerbell) and we had to hurry. She took us all to the front of the line. As bad as I felt cutting, she
was THRILLED! except then she thought we didn;t have to wait ever again! LOL.
The next morning we went back to MK. We did just about everything there except for TT. We actually stayed there from
10:00am till 11:00 pm. In all my years, we have never done this. Still don't know how the kids made it! We always go back to our room
mid-day in order to reat and freshen up. Luckily I had a change of clothes for them and we just freshed up in the bathroom. That
evening I grabbed a spot in Frontierland fro the parade. I had a great spot and what a perfect event to end the day.
The following day we hit EPCOT we avoided MS just figured we'll do that next time. We had a relaxing day and once again slowed
down and enjoyed just being there. Later that afternoon, we headed over to Wildreness lodge ( where we will be staying in December). We
began to rent the mouse boats (which is a tradition) then changed our mind and rented a Patoon boat. This will be our new tradition. It
was perfect. We all enjoyed this and the timing was perfect. It was not to hot nor, were the waters crowded. PIcture perfect....I have
them to prove it! LOL.
On our last day we ate a the Contemporary. This was a great breakfast! The birthday song and all! Food was great and
the characters were all over the place. We go there towards the end of breakfast which worked out well. We planned on a waterpark but
once we arrived we were told it was packed and to come back later. the kids were a little upset but I was thankful I wasn't that last
peson they did let in! We decided to see some more of the owrld. So we rode the monorails and some of their watercrafts, with no where to
go. That was the best part. We swam a little more at the Hotel then headed to see relatives.
This was the first unplanned vacation. I can stress how nice it is to just go without a plan and I am an itinarary freak!!!!! I decided to let it flow and it worked out so well. I think perhaps in december I will let one person be in charge on one day. We have seen it all before but this time we took it in and truely enjoyed it!
